There are 3 of these Delta impressions available, each one $125.
I moved to AR from southeastern NY in 2016. What many people do not realize is that the area I moved from, the Hudson Valley, is mountainous. It is not at all flat. These three pinched forms are part of a series I completed after commuting across the Delta for a year. My commute across the delta usually started at dawn, I would marvel at the colors, and how the flatness of the landscape would allow me to witness the sunrise from a 280-degree perspective. It was the first time in my life that I experienced a soul-connecting understanding of the Impressionists. I started taking pictures to make sure what I was seeing was in fact there. I made it a point to take an image on my way to work and my way home every day for months. The paintings on these forms are my interpretation of those images. The forms are rough and rugged like the unevenness of the landscape. The porcelain is pinched as thin as the material would allow, without worry of functionality. They are surprisingly watertight, however. I wanted the translucency so that the forms would change in light the way that the landscape does.
